RESOLUTION NO. 65R -425
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RATIFYING THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT
DATED AUGUST 24, 1964 BETWEEN THE COUNTIES OF
LOS ANGELES, ORANGE, SAN BERNARDINO, RIVERSIDE
AND VENTURA, THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RAPID
TRANSIT DISTRICT, THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION AGENCY, AND RATIFYING
CITIES, WITH REFERENCE TO A CONTINUING COMPRE-
HENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLANNING PROCESS IN THE
"LARTS" AREA.
IT IS RESOLVED that the agreement dated August 24,
1964, between the Counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura,
San Bernardino, Riverside, the California Highway Transporta-
tion Agency, the Southern California Rapid Transit District,
and such cities as shall ratify the agreement in accordance
with its terms, which provide organizational and working
arrangements for a continuing coordinated comprehensive trans-
portation planning process in the Los Angeles Regional Trans-
portation Study area, is herewith ratified effective the date
of execution of the agreement by the Department of Public
Works; and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is authorized
to deposit a certified copy of this resolution with the Depart-
ment of Public Works, State of California, as provided for in
said agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of June, 1965.
