RESOLUTION NO, 65R -395
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
ublic utilit •u .oses
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim th.t the offer of AMOS A. WOODY and ANN
WOODY, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of An.= ;helm, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that certain land lying within the North-
west quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 15, Town
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., described as
follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Lemon Street
and Vermont Avenue; thence South 74 21' 15" West along
the center line of Vermont Avenue, 46.10 feet; thence at
right angles to said center line of Vermont Avenue, North
15 38' 45" West, 33 feet to a point on a line that is
parallel with and distant 33 feet Northerly of said center
line; thence tangent to said parallel line to the beginning
of a curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of
15 feet; thence Easterly and Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 89 49' 10" an arc distance of
23.51 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with and
distant 31.25 feet Westerly of the center line of Lemon
Street; thence North 74 32' 5" East, 31.25 feet to a point
on the center line of Lemon Street, said point being North
15 27' 55" West, 47.85 feet from the point of beginning;
thence South 15 27' 55" East, 47.85 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and th -.t the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
:the City of Anaheim, th sum of One Dollar 01.00).
