A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM'ERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR POWER POLES, LINES
AND INCIDENTAL PURPOSES,_

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for power poles,
lines and incidental purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for power poles,
lines and incidental purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement over the real property in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, des-
cribed as:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of power
poles, lines and incidental purposes over, under and
across those portions of the Southeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as per Map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE: A strip of land 10.00 feet in width lying
adjacent to and Southwesterly, as measured at right
angles, of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of the
Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said
Section, with a line parallel with and distant South-
westerly 60.00 feet, as measured at right angles, from
the Northeasterly line of the land described in Pa r
cel 11" in the deed to Southern Pacific Railroad Com-
pany, a corporation, recorded October 13, 1927 in Book
89, page 345 of Official Records of said County; thence
Southeasterly along said parallel line to a point on
the South line of said Northwest quarter of Section 23.
The Southwesterly line of said 10.00 foot strip is to
be shortened or lengthened so as to terminate in the
west and south lines of said Southeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter.
PARCEL TWO: A strip of land 4.00 feet in width, the
center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the Southeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23,
505.00 feet North, measured along said West line, of
the South line of said Southeast quarter; thence
Easterly, parallel with said South line, to a point
in the Southwesterly line of "Parcel One" above des-
cribed.
The North and South lines of said 4.00 foot strip are
to be shortened or lengthened so as to terminate in
the West line of said Southeast quarter and in the
Southwesterly line of "Parcel One" above described.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept
a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owner or owners of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 1st day of June 19 65
