A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of E. LEWIS JOHNSON and

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 53.00 -feet as measured at right angles
from the center line of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly known as
Los Angeles Street) of the Northwesterly 120 feet of that
portion of Lot 26, Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of
Survey made by Wm. Hamel and filed for record in the Office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 26; thence North-
erly along the Easterly line of said lot, a distance of 503.19
feet, more or less, to the Southeasterly corner of that certain
tract of land conveyed by Rollin R. Rees, et ux, to 0. A. Mul-
linix, by deed recorded January 25, 1924 in Book 506, page 256
of Deeds, records of said Orange County; thence Westerly along
the Southerly line of the land so conveyed to Mullinix, a dis-
tance of 612.49 feet, more or less, to a point in the Westerly
line of said Lot 26, which point is distant 331.89 feet Northerly
from the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 26; thence Southerly
along the Westerly line of said Lot 26, a distance of 331.89
feet to the Southwesterly corner thereof; thence Easterly along
the Southerly line of said lot a distance of 633.60 feet to the
point of beginning.
Except the Southwesterly 227.22 feet, measured from the center
line of Lemon Street.
Note: For the purpose of this description the Easterly line
of said Lot 26 is assumed to be the center line of Anaheim
Boulevard (formerly known as Los Angeles Street.)

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and the -t the City of Anaheim accept convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
Ow City of Anaheim, th sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
