1965-371WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did on the 6th day of April, 1965, receive a written peti-
tion asking that certain territory described in said peti-
tion be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution
No. 65R -268, designating the said proposed annexation as
JOHNSON ANNEXATION; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 18th day of
May, 1965, at the hour of 7 :00 P.M., at the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the day,
hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by
the City Clerk in the Anaheim Bulletin on April 15th and 22nd,
1965, and in the Placentia Courier on April 15th and 22nd,
1965, in accordance with the requirements of law; and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the
18th day of May, 1965, and on said date said hearing was
closed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council does find and declare that a majority protest was
not made at said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 18th day of May, 1965.
