1965-353WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore authorized
the institution of proceedings in eminent domain resulting in the
bringing of an action in the Orange County Superior Court, en-
titled City of Anaheim vs. Southern California Edison Company,
et al., Case No. 93818," upon which Final Order of Condemnation
issued and has been recorded; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with said Final Order of Condem-
nation, the Southern California Edison Company did assign to, and
deliver to, the City of Anaheim certain deeds, deeds of easement,
and assignments of easements which were not recorded by the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it was the intention of the City of Anaheim
to accept and record said documents immediately upon delivery
thereof to the City so that the documentation of record would
reflect the title to such property and easements as being in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim now desires to accept such
deeds, deeds of easements, and assignments of easements nunc pro
tunc as of March 7, 1962, and to authorize and direct their
recording.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept and it does hereby accept
nunc pro tunc as of March 7, 1962 those certain easements and
assignments of easements, all in accordance with the Final Order
of Condemnation in Superior Court Case No. 93818.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that John H. Dawson, Assist-
ant City Attorney for the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to record on behalf of the City of
Anaheim the deeds, deeds of easements, and assignments of ease-
ments to which reference has been heretofore made.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
