A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
-PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EDWIN C. BECHLER, a
married man, LEONA BECHLER FERRARA, a married woman, who acquired
title as Leona Bechler Allen, GEORGIA BECHLER PERRY, a married
woman, and JOHANNA BECHLER CLAYTON, a married woman, each as
their sole and separate property, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Northerly 53.00 feet of the East-
erly 462.00 feet of the Northeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 22,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying East of the South-
westerly right of way line of the Pacific Electric Railway
Co. (formerly the Los Angeles Inter -Urban Railway Co.) by
deed recorded September 8, 1905 in Book 122, page 182 of
Official Records of Orange County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 11th day of May 19 65
