OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ELECTRIC POWER
POLES AND POWER LINE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim thr;t the offer of GIBSON GREETING CARDS. INC.,
a Delaware corsoration
to sell to the City of Anaheim t e following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for electric
s ower soles and sower line purposes
and more particular y descried as o ows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance
of electric power poles and lines over, under and
across those portions of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map thereof recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: A strip of land 10.00 feet in width,
lying adjacent to and Southwesterly, as measured at
right angles, of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of
the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
said Section with a line parallel with and distant
Southwesterly 60.00 feet, as measured at right angles,
from the Southeasterly prolongation of the Northeasterly
line of the land described in "Parcel 11" in the deed
to Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation,
recorded October 13, 1927 in Book 89, page 345 of
Official Records of said County; thence Southeasterly
along said parallel line to its intersection with
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).

The Southwesterly line of said 10.00 foot strip is to
be shortened or lengthened so as to terminate in the
North line of said Southwest quarter and in the
Northerly line of said land conveyed to Southern
California Edison Company.
PARCEL TWO: A strip of land 10.00 feet in width lying
adjacent to and Northerly, as measured at right
angles, of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of the
Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 23 with the Northerly line of the land con-
veyed to Southern California Edison Company by deed
recorded September 20, 1961 in Book 5854, page 457
of Official Records; thence Easterly along said
Northerly line to a point in the Southwesterly line
of Parcel One above described.
The Northerly line of said 10.00 foot strip is to be
shortened or lengthened so as to terminate in the West
line of said Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter and in the Southwesterly line of Parcel One
above described.
