WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public
utility, and grading and construction purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of HAROLD H. JACOBSON
and BETTY J. JACOBSON, husband and wife, and MAXINE A. JACOBSON,
wife of Eugene E. Jacobson, and ESTATE OF EUGENE E. JACOBSON
by MAXINE A. JACOBSON, ADMINISTRATRIX, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for easements for road and public utility, and grading and
construction purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that parcel of land,
being a portion of Block A of Tract No. 613, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 19, page 19 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Tract No. 613,
for the purpose of this description said Northeast corner
is assumed to be the center line intersection of Crowther
Avenue (formerly Placentia -Yorba Boulevard), with the
center line of that certain unnamed road shown on the Map
of said Tract No. 613, now known as Dowling Avenue; thence
South 07 15' East 459.38 feet; thence North 87 19' West
53.81 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 53.00 feet Westerly (as measured at right angles from
the center line of said road now known as Dowling Avenue);
thence North 07 15' West 392.70 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius
of 25 feet; thence Northerly and Northwesterly along said
curve, through a central angle of 80 04' an arc distance
of 34.95 feet, to an intersection with a line that is
parallel with and 45.00 feet Southerly of the center line
of said Crowther Avenue; thence North 87 19' West 598.87
feet, more or less; thence North 07 15' West 45.68 feet,

less, to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for grading and construction
of a slope area over, along and across that portion of
Block A of said Tract No. 613 above mentioned, lying
Easterly, Northeasterly and Northerly of the following
described line:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Parcel One above
described; thence North 7 15' West 25.00 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence South 83 West 3.00
feet; thence North 10 53' 25" West 250.58 feet; thence
North 7 West 90.00 feet to an angle point; thence
North 34 37' 44" West 10.82 feet to an angle point; thence
North 82 48' 37" West 230.63 feet to the point of termi-
nus of the line herein above described.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within
Parcel One above described.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
