1965-337WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on March 10, 1964, adopt Resolution No. 64R -160 granting Variance No. 1616 permitting a waiver of the minimum building setback requirement of 10 feet (Section 18.38.050, Paragraph 2 -A, of the Anaheim Municipal Code) and a waiver of the structural height limitation (Section 18.38.050, Paragraph 3, of the Anaheim Municipal Code) to permit the expansion of the Keystone Savings Loan Association building to three stories, on the property described in said resolution, subject to certain conditions therein set forth; and WHEREAS, Conditions Nos. 3, 4 and 6 of said resolution read as follows: "3. RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 337 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 64R -160 GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1616. That a 36 -inch decorative masonry wall shall be constructed along the Crescent Avenue frontage of subject property, which wall shall be set back 3 feet from the rear line of the sidewalk and said 3 -foot strip of land between the sidewalk and said wall shall be landscaped. That plans for said landscaping shall be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that said landscaping shall be installed prior to final building inspection. "4. That a 6 -foot decorative masonry wall shall be con- structed along the Fairhaven Street frontage of subject property, which wall shall be set back 3 feet from the rear line of the sidewalk, and shall be stepped down to 36 inches commencing at a point 15 feet south of the southerly right of way line of Crescent Avenue. That the 3 -foot strip of land between the sidewalk and said wall shall be land- scaped; that plans for said landscaping shall be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that said landscaping shall be installed prior to final building inspection. "6. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along the southerly property lines, where adjacent to single family residential zone property, which wall shall be constructed prior to final building inspection." AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the health, safety and welfare of the citizens and residents of the City of Anaheim require that said walls be modified as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 64R -160 granting Variance No. 1616 be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: (b) That Condition No. 4 of said resolution is hereby amended to provide that two courses shall be removed from the wall along Fairhaven Drive. (c) That Condition No. 6 of said resolution is hereby amended to provide that the wall along the southerly property lines, adjacent to single- family residential zone property, shall be stepped down to two courses between the front yard setback line and the front property line. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said Resolution No. 64R -160 be, and remain in full force and effect. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this llth day of May, 1965.
