RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 323
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE
ON THE WEST SIDE OF A PORTION OF RIO VISTA
STREET.
WHEREAS, certain construction work is contemplated on
Rio Vista Street from approximately 1740 feet north of Lincoln
Avenue to Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of Cali-
fornia has advised the City Engineer that it will be necessary
that parking be prohibited at all times on the west side of Rio
Vista Street from a point 1,113 feet north of the center line
of Lincoln Avenue to a point 1,151 feet north thereof, before
the project can be finally approved; and
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or prohibit
parking on certain streets or highways, or portions thereof, dur-
ing all or certain hours of the day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that parking be prohibited at all times on
the west side of Rio Vista Street from a point 1,113 feet north
of the center line of Lincoln Avenue to a point 1,151 feet north
thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said prohibition of parking
shall go into effect immediately and shall remain in effect until
the curbing is removed, relocated or the street further widened.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of May, 1965.
