1965-322RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 322 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. WHEREAS, heretofore, by its resolution duly adopted and passed on the 10th day of September, 1963, the City of Anaheim authorized and directed the initiation of condemnation proceedings which resulted in the commencement of Orange County Superior Court Case No. 177579, being entitled 'City of Anaheim vs. Emma Lemke, et al. and WHEREAS, Defendants, Emma Lemke, A. W. Lemke and Lydia Piescer have offered to deed the property sought to be condemned by the City of Anaheim to the City for a total cash consideration of $4,775.00, together with the City granting to Defendants a license to maintain certain irrigation lines in place within the property to be covered by said deed; and WHEREAS, the City Council has by Resolution No. 65R -230 authorized the granting of a license to maintain said irrigation linesin place within said property, and has authorized the pay- ment of $4,775.00 to the defendants for said property when the City Attorney holds a grant deed in favor of the City, executed by said defendants conveying said property to the City. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the deed executed by Emma Lemke, A. W. Lemke and Lydia Piescer conveying the following described property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, to wit: A strip of land 25.00 feet in width, lying 7.50 feet north- erly of and 17.50 feet southerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Eight (8) of Mrs. Bush s Subdivision of a portion of Bush Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 36, page 52 of Miscel- laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence North 0 10' West along the Westerly line of said Lot Eight (8) and the Northerly prolongation thereof, a dis- tance of 1932.63 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence North 80 41' 11" West 1.27 feet; thence North 80 28' 06" West 85.50 feet; thence North 86 50' 00" West 216.63 feet; thence South 87 08' 00" West 151.41 feet; thence South 87 55' 43" West 0.82 feet to the intersection with the Westerly line of that parcel of land described by deed recorded August 15, 1960 in Book 5374, Page 333 of Official Records of Orange County, California. The North line of said right of way being the South toe of the dike of the Santa Ana River. The South line of said right of way to be lengthened or shortened to coincide with the East and West lines of the above mentioned deed. -1- to the City of Anaheim, be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
