1965-772WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: ,An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARY ALICE GRIMSHAW
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 65R -772
A RESOLUTION OF TUE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY of ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 49 of the Original
City Lots, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 629
and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Broadway and
Anaheim Boulevard; thence South 15 30' East, along the
center line of said Anaheim Boulevard, a distance of
197.50 feet; thence South 74 30' West, 40 feet; thence
North 15 30' West, 150.75 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius
of 25 feet; thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve
through a central angle of 90 an are distance of 39.27
feet; thence North 15 30' West 21.75 feet to a point on
the center line of said Broadway, said point being
South 74 30' West, 65 feet from the point of beginning;
thence North 74 30' East 65 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
