A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO in CIT° Or ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
OVERHANG PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility overhang purposes
and
WHEREAS, the over s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LESTER E. MOFFIT and
ETHEL W. MOFFIT, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of An °:beim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility overhang purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility overhand; purposes for electric
power lines and cross arms over, under and across the Northerly
and Easterly 3 feet of that portion of the Southwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map thereof re-
corded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of said Section 18,
distant thereon South 89 59' 47" East 494 feet from the Southwest
corner of said Section 18, and running thence North 0 17' 20"
East parallel with the West line of said Section 18, 236 feet to
the South line of Tract No. 1446, as shown on a Map thereof re-
corded in Book 72, pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County; thence South 89 59' 47" East, along said
South line, 111.06 feet to the West line of Tract No. 2529, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 71 pages 17, 18 and 19 of said
Miscellaneous Maps; thence South 0 27 48" West along said West
line, 236 feet to the South line of said Section 18; thence
North 89 59' 47" West, along said South line 110.34 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion within Ball Road.
For the purpose of the above description, the center line of
Ball Road is assumed to be the south line of the above parcel
of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
