MENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF

have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting
the consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the
commencement of proceedings for the annexation of the herein-
after described territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating
that said territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of
Anaheim and to the qualified electors residing within said
territory to permit the above named proponents to commence
proceedings for the annexation of said territory to the City
of Anaheim, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations re-
ceived recommending the granting of consent to commence
proceedings for annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council
be, and it is hereby given to said proponents to commence
proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said
territory to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to the
Local Agency Annexation Commission by filing a notice of
intention to annex with the commission, containing the
specific boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed.
Second: That the proposal for annexation of said
territory to t"he City of Anaheim shall be submitted to and
reported upon to the proponents by the Boundary Commission of
the County of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and
certainty of proposed boundaries.
Third: That no petition be circulated for the annexa-
tion of said territory until after notice of intention to cir-
culate such petition has been published as required by law, and
a copy of such notice and affidavit of publication has been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10)
days after the date of publication of said notice, and a reso-
lution has been adopted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim acknowledging receipt of said notice and approving the
circulation of said petition.
Fourth: That the circulation of any petition for
the annexatio of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall
not be commenced until twenty -one (21) days after the publica-
tion of said notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceed-
ings are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof
to the City of Anaheim are described as follows:

YORBA LINDA ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
That portion of land located in the County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, said point
being the point of intersection of the Easterly right of way line of Orchard Drive (60
feet wide) with the North right of way line of that 200 foot strip of land conveyed to
the Pacific Electric Land Company by deed recorded in Book 177, page 68 of Deeds, records
of Orange County, California, as established by the Yorba Annexation to the City of
Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1777 November 13, 1962 filed with the Secretary of State
August 10, 1964 and recorded August 13, 1964 in the office of the County Recorder of
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
1.. Following along a portion of the existing City of Anaheim City Limit line as established
by the said Yorba Annexation the following courses and distances: South 53 01' East
1,688 feet, more or less, along the North line of the land conveyed to the said Pacific
Electric Land Company to an intersection with the East line of Block 24 of the Yorba
Linda Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, said point of intersection being North
2 40' West 938 feet, more or less, from the Southeast corner of Lot 6 of Block 24 of
the said Yorba Linda Tract; thence
2, South 2 40' East 938 feet, more or less, along the East line of said Yorba Linda Tract
to the Southeast corner of Lot 6 of Block 24 of said Yorba Linda Tract, said Southeast
corner also being at an intersection of the East line of Block 24 of said Yorba Linda
Tract with the Northerly line of the Stadtegger Tract, as said Stadtegger Tract is shown
on a Record of Survey Map filed in Book 2, page 18 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; thence
3. South 50° East 528 feet, more or less, along a portion of the Northerly line of the said
Stadtegger Tract to the most Northeasterly corner of that parcel of land shown as the
Adobe Vineyard on the Map of said Stadtegger Tract; thence
4. South 69 45' West 310 feet, more or less, along the North line of said land shown as
the Adobe Vineyard to the Northwesterly corner of said parcel; thence
5. South 24° 45' East 855 feet, more or less, along the Westerly line of said Adobe Vineyard
land to the Southwesterly corner of said land; thence

land to an intersection with the centerline of the Anaheim Ditch of the Anaheim Union
Water Company, as established as a portion of the boundary of the Orange County Water
District, passed the Senate of the State of California by Senate Bill No. 117, April
22, 1957, said point of intersection being on a line at the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 867.88 feet; thence
7. Southeasterly along said curve, being for the purpose of this description, the centerline
of said Anaheim Ditch of the Anaheim Union Water Company, through a central angle of
48 49' 00" an arc distance of 740 feet, more or less; thence
8. South 73° 34' East 2.24 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of that parcel of
land conveyed to the Yorba Irrigation Company, a corporation, by deed recorded July
18, 1949 in Book 1874, page 305 of Official Records of Orange County, California;

corner of Tract No. 5400, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 194, pages 30 through 33 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
15. North 0 49' 54" East 40.02 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 202 of said Tract No.
5400; thence along the Southerly line of Lot 202 of said Tract No. 5400, the following
courses and distances: North 88 59' 05" East 35.87 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Northerly and having a radius of 5,699.65 feet; thence East along said
