A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITE' Or ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
.WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: ,An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM UNION HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
.public utility purposes
and more particularly escr a as o ows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly 45 feet, as measured at
right angles to the center line of Western Avenue, and the
Southerly 32 feet, as measured at right angles to the center
line of Orange Avenue, of the Southeast quarter of the North-
west quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West,
S.B.B. M.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of the Southeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Northwest quarter, said
Southeast corner being the center line intersection of Western
Avenue and Orange Avenue; thence South 89° 38' 17" West, along
the center line of Orange Avenue, 69.91 feet; thence Northerly
at right angles to said center line, to the intersection with a
line that is parallel with and distant 32 feet North of said
center line to the beginning of a curve tangent to said parallel
line, concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence Easterly and Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 89° 54' 19" an arc distance of 39.23 feet to a point on
a line that is parallel with and distant 45 feet Westerly of the
center line of Western Avenue; thence Easterly 45 feet to a poi.nt
on the center line of Western Avenue, said point being North
0 16' 02" West 56.88 feet from the point of beginning; thence
South 0 16' 02" Last, 56.88 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of October
