have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting
the consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the
commencement of proceedings for the annexation of the herein-
after described territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating
that said territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous
to the. City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of
Anaheim and to the qualified electors residing within said
territory to permit the above named proponents to commence
proceedings for the annexation of said territory to the City
of Anaheim, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations re-
ceived recommending the granting of consent to commence
proceedings for annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council
be, and it is hereby given to said proponents to commence
proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said
territory to tT a City of Anaheim shall be submitted to the
Local Agency Annexation Commission by filing a notice of
intention to annex with the Commission, containing the
specific boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed.
Second: That the proposal for annexation of said
territory to t e City of Anaheim shall be submitted to and
reported upon to the proponents by the Boundary Commission of
the County of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and
certainty of proposed boundaries.
Third: That no petition be circulated for the annexa-
tion of sai territory until after notice of intention to cir-
culate such petition has been published as required by law, and
a copy of such notice and an affidavit of publication has been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10)
days after the date of publication of said notice, and a reso-
lution has been adopted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim acknowledging receipt of said notice and approving the
circulation of said petition.
Fourth: That the circulation of any petition for
the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall
not be commenced until twenty -one (21) days after the publication
of said notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the
City of Anaheim are described as follows:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of California, described
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, as estab-
lished by the Peralta Hills Annexation passed by Ordinance No. 1688, March 27, 1962,
filed with the Secretary of State April 27, 1962 and recorded May 2, 1962 in the
office of the County Recorder of Official Records of Orange County, California, said
point of beginning being the intersection of the Southerly right of way line of the
Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company Canal, as shown on a Record of Survey filed in
Book 4, page 45 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, California, with the Southeasterly prolongation of the East line of
the J. D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 16 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, as said intersection is referred to in
the above mentioned Peralta Hills Annexation, said Southerly right of way line of the
Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company Canal also being, for the purpose of this descrip-
tion, the Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road, as shown on said Record of Survey;

as established by the said Peralta Hills Annexation, being a portion of the said
Southerly right of way line of the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company Canal and a
portion of the said Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road, as shown on said Record
of Survey filed in Book 4, page 45 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California, the following courses and distances: South
50 51' 45" West 306 feet, more or less, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 570.00 feet; thence Westerly along said curve,
through a central angle of 30 12' 45" an arc distance of 300.57 feet; thence South
81 04' 30" West tangent to last mentioned curve a distance of 234.36 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 630.00
feet; thence Westerly along said curve through a central angle of 16 45' 30" an arc
distance of 184.27 feet; thence South 64 19' West tangent to last mentioned curve

60 feet wide, as said street is shown on a Map of Tract No. 5000, recorded in Book 191,
pages 28, 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
South 18 04' 32" East 160.70 feet along a portion of the Easterly right of way line of
said Addington Drive, to an intersection with the Southerly right of way line of the
aforementioned Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company Canal, and for the purpose of this
description, also being a portion of the Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road, as
shown on a Record of Survey filed in Book 4, page 45 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California; thence

feet; thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 30 31' 15" an
arc distance of 335.42 feet; thence South 50 51° 45" West tangent to said curve a
distance of 297 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
