1965-722HL a request has been made by Mr. Anson McArthur
of the Buzza-Cardozo Company, 1500 South Anaheim Boulevard, to
restrict parking on Anaheim Boulevard in the vicinity of 1500
South Anaheim Boulevard; and
TAEELAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California has, by letter dated July 15, 1965, advisee. the pity
Engineer that the results of its investi indicate that it
would be desirable to prohibit parking on the east side of
Anaheim Boulevard from Cerritos Avenue to 250 feet south of
Cerritos Avenue; and
WBELEAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the
State of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or
prohibit parking on a state highway if the resolution is first
submitted to and approved, in writing, by the Department of
Public Works.
NOW, THEF0, BE IT —EbOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that parking be prohibited at all times
on the east side of Anaheim Boulevard from Cerritos Avenue to
25J feet south of Cerritos Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon approval, in writin, by the
Department of Public Works of the Etate of California.
