A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE
GRANTING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing
the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes;
and
WHEREAS, said real property was duly sold and conveyed
to the State of California for nonpayment of taxes in accordance
with law; and
WHEREAS, in conformity with the provisions of Division
1, Part 6, Chapter 8, Article 2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California, by agreement therein authorized, the
Tax Collector of the County of Orange agreed to sell to the City
of Anaheim said real property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, no taxing agency objected to the sale; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept the
offer to sell said real property and purchase the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that that certain indenture dated August 17,
1965 and this day submitted to the City Council, granting to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California:
The vast 106 feet of the South 24.62 feet
of the North 652.8 feet of Lot 11 in Miles
Rancho, as per map thereof recorded in
Book 4, Page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
Don S. Mozley, Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of
California, the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by the
this 14th day of September, 1965.
