RESOLUTION NO. 65R -686
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS TO ISSUE AN INTERDEPARTMENTAL PURCHASE
ORDER FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE STREET LIGHT-
ING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT 1965 -2.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim operates a public utility
capable of furnishing maintenance and energy for street lights;
and
WHEREAS, the Street Lighting Act of 1931 authorizes
the City Council to direct the Superintendent of Streets to
issue an interdepartmental purchase order for the improvement
of the street lighting system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
established a street lighting assessment district designated
"Street Lighting Assessment District 1965 -2."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to issue an interdepartmental purchase order for the
improvement of Street Lighting Assessment District 1965 -2 for
each year during the existence of the Maintenance District
1965 -2.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of September, 1965.
