RESOLUTION NO. 655,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN
MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF AI-IM KNOWN AND DESIG-
NATED AS LA PALMA AND RIO VISTA
ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did on the 27th day of ,J 19 h4 receive a
written petition asking that certain territory described in
said petition be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution
Noe65R -562 designating the said proposed annexation as
LA PALMA AND RIO VISTA ANNEXATION; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 24th day
of Au ust 19 65 at the hour of 7:00 P.M., at
the City ouaci hamber in the City Hall of the City of
Anaheim, as the day, hour and place when and where the City
Council would hear protests made by the owner or owners of
any real property within the territory proposed to be
annexed; and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the
24th day of August 19 65
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council does find and declare that a majority protest
has not been w made at said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 24th day of August 19 65

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of

the 24th day of August, 1965.
