1965-642WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RAYMOND W. GRIMM and
HELEN M. GRIMM, and JOHN K. KAHLEN, JR. and EDNA R. KAHLEN, to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
The South 33.00 feet of the North 193.00 feet of the
East 34.00 feet of the Northeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as said Section is
shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 7 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of August 1965.
