1965-641WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District owns
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim which
said District desires to sell to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that it is
to the benefit of the City to purchase such real property; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District and
the City of Anaheim have agreed upon a price for such real
property which is fair and reasonable to both parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim enter into an
agreement with the Orange County Flood Control District, said
agreement providing that Orange County Flood Control District
shall convey to the City of Anaheim two parcels of real property
generally located within the intersecting boundaries of the
Santa Ana Freeway, Brookhurst Avenue and Crescent Avenue, abut-
ting the Orange County Flood Control Channel and specifically
identified by the Orange County Flood Control District as
Parcels Nos. 802.1 and 805.1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Grant Deed
conveying the real property described above is executed by the
Board of Supervisors and is held by the Department of Real
Property Services for conveyance to the City of Anaheim, the
Finance Director be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to pay to the Orange County Flood Control District the sum of
$84,322.60 by forwarding a draft for such amount to:
