A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED TO
REAL PROPERTY CONVEYED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE TERMS OF THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT ENTERED
INTO ON JULY 27, 1965 BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND LUSK CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Lusk Corporation
did enter into a certain agreement on July 27, 1965 providing,
among other things, for the conveyance of the hereinafter
described property to the City of Anaheim upon the terms and
conditions and for the consideration set forth in said agree-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Grant Deed executed on August 18,
1965 by Lusk Corporation, granting to the City of Anaheim the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the land allotted to the heirs of Leandro
Serrano, in Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 9 West,
as shown on Map of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th
Judicial District Court of California, described in the
deed to Louis E. Nohl and Margaret Elliot Nohl, recorded
October 6, 1943, in Book 1210, page 501 of Official
Records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 57, Tract
No. 4690, as shown on map recorded in Book 204, pages
36 to 38, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
said County; thence North 4 51' 25" West, 112.00 feet
along the boundary of said Tract and its Northerly pro-
longation; thence North 65 47' 00" East, 243.74 feet;
thence North 57 09' 11" East, 315.97 feet; thence
North 1 29' 24" East, 215.00 feet to the intersection
with that certain line within Proposed Lincoln Avenue,
60 feet in width, and described in Parcel No. 2, recor-
ded in Book 6355, page 676 of Official Records of said
County, as having a bearing of South 88 30' 36" East
and a length of 998.96 feet; thence South 88 30' 36"
East, 43.96 feet along said line to the beginning of a
tangent curve therein, concave to the North and having
a radius of 1200 feet; thence Easterly along said curve
288.07 feet through a central angle of 13 45' 17" to
the beginning of a reverse curve having a radius of
486.97 feet; thence Easterly 179.28 feet along said curve,
through a central angle of 21 05' 39 thence South 81
10' 14" East, tangent to said curve 107.98 feet; thence
South 3 16' 14" East 389.82 feet; thence South 57 49'
25" West 570.95 feet, to a point in the Northerly line
of the Olive Hills Reservoir Site, described as Parcel
No. 8, and recorded in Book 6355, page 677 of said
Official Records, said point being distant thereon North
54 51' 44" West, 66.13 feet from the Southeasterly
terminus of that certain course therein described as

having a bearing of South 54 51' 44" East and a length
of 246.13 feet; thence along the boundary line of said
Parcel No. 8 as follows: North 54 51' 44" West, 180.00
feet, South 78 22' 39" West, 350.75 feet; North 62 02'
28" West, 110.86 feet; and South 85 08' 35" West, 49.28
feet, to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT to easements of Record.
be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Lusk Corpora-
tion the sum of $84,986.00, which represents full payment for
the land, $66,186.00, and $18,800.00 for the improvements to
be placed on the property, as more particularly set forth in
the agreement to which reference has been made.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to record said deed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 24th day of August, 1965.
