1965-610RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 610 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED TO PROPERTY CONVEYED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THOSE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS ENTERED INTO ON OCTOBER 20, 1964 AND DECEMBER 1, 1964 BETWEEN LOUIS E. NOHL AND MARGARET E. NOHL AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Louis E. Nohl and Margaret E. Nohl did enter into certain agreements on November 20, 1964 and December 1, 1964 providing, among other things, for the dedication of the hereinafter described easements to the City of Anaheim upon the terms and for the consideration set forth in said agreements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Easement Deed dated August 6, 1965, from Louis E. Nohl and Margaret Elliott Nohl, granting to the City of Anaheim easements over the following described property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, to wit: An easement for pipe line and public utility purposes, and a right of way for a service road over, under and across those parcels of land described below as Parcels 9 and 8, being a portion of the land conveyed to Louis E. Nohl and Margaret Elliott Nohl, by deed recorded October 6, 1943 in Book 1210, page 501, of Official Records of Orange County, California, and that portion of the land allotted to Heirs of Leandro Serrano, per map of partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book B of Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court, Los Angeles County, California, described as a strip of land being 60.00 feet in width, lying 30.00 feet on each side of the following described lines: PARCEL (9): Beginning at a point referred to as "AA" described in Parcel Two of the deed recorded November 19, 1964 in Book 7309, page 776 of Official Records of Orange County, California; thence South 47 15' 00" West 45.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North- westerly and having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Southwesterly 290.60 feet along said curve through a central angle of 27 45' 00" to a point hereinafter referred to as Point "AB," said point being the point of terminus of the line described above. PARCEL (8): An easement for pipe line, public utility purposes and a right of way for a service road, being a strip of land 60.00 feet wide, lying 30.00 feet on each side of the following described line: Beginning at a point South 15 00' 00" East 50.62 feet from Point "AB" described in Parcel 9 above described; thence North 15 00' 00" West 70.62 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Northwesterly and Westerly 1023.64 feet through a central angle of 97 45' 00 thence South 67 15' 00" West 122.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northerly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Westerly 382.23 feet along said curve through a central angle of 36 30' 00 thence North 76 15' 00" West 273.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Westerly 476.47 feet along said curve through a central angle of 45 30' 00 thence South 58 15' 00" West 424.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Southwesterly 476.47 feet along said curve through a central angle of 45 30' 00" to the beginning of a reverse curve having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Westerly 308.92 feet along said curve through a central angle of 29 30' 00 thence South 74 15' 00" West 1431.84 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northerly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Westerly 316.78 feet along said curve through a central angle of 30 15' 00 thence North 75 30' 00" West, tangent to said curve, 1108.89 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Northwesterly 277.51 feet along said curve through a central angle of 26 30' 00 thence North 49 00' 00" West, tangent to said curve, 110.25 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 600.00 feet; thence Northwesterly 534.77 feet along said curve through a central angle of 51 04' 00" to tangency with the center line of the existing Lincoln Avenue. The above described easements cover the area of land designated as Parcels No. 8 and 9 in the unrecorded agreement executed December 1, 1964, by and between Louis E. Nohl and Margaret E. Nohl, and the City of Anaheim. An easement for the construction, reconstruction, main- tenance and repair of water transmission pipe lines and appurtenances necessary thereto over, under and across the following described strips of land, designated as Parcel No. 13 on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof, described below as Parcels A, B C: PARCEL NO. A: A strip of land fifteen (15) feet in width, as follows: That portion of the Westerly one -half of that certain fifty (50) foot wide strip of land described in a deed of easement recorded as Document 101263 in Book 3179, pages 22 et seq. of Official Records of Orange County, California, lying 7.50 feet on each side of the following described line: Commencing at the Northerly terminus of that certain curve (in the center line of said 50 -foot wide strip) described in said deed as having a radius of 300.00 feet and an arc length of 90.28 feet; thence North 75 39' 00" West radially to said curve 15.00 feet, to a line that is parallel with and distant Westerly 15.00 feet from said center line; thence North 14 21' 00" East along said parallel line 185.96 feet to the true point of beginning; thence along said parallel line through the following described courses: South 14 21' 00" West 185.96 feet -2- ATTEST: to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Westerly, having a radius of 285.00 feet; Southerly 85.77 feet along said curve through a central angle of 17 14' 34 South 31 35' 34" West 761.90 feet; South 20 02' 33" West 181.76 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as "Point A and South 20 02' 33" West 7.50 feet. PARCEL NO. B: A strip of land, fifteen (15) feet in width, the center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at the point of beginning described in Parcel No. 1 above; thence North 60 00' 00" West 100 feet. The Northeasterly line of Parcel No. 2 and the Easterly line of Parcel No. 1 shall be prolonged or shortened so as to intersect. PARCEL NO. C: A strip of land fifteen (15) feet in width, the center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at "Point A" described in Parcel No. 1 above; thence North 69 57' 27" West 45.00 feet; thence South 20 02' 33" West 10.00 feet; thence North 69 57' 27" West 117.45 feet; thence South 81 20' 14" West 80.00 feet; (Note: Map referred to in above description of property attached to deed.) be, and the same is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to record said deed.
