RESOLUTION NO. 65R- 57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE COM-
PROMISE OF CERTAIN EMINENT DOMAIN LITIGATION,
AND DIRECTING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO MAKE
CERTAIN PAYMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, heretofore, by its resolution duly adopted
and passed on the 19th day of January, 1965, the City of Anaheim
authorized and directed the initiation of condemnation proceed-
ings which resulted in the commencement of Orange County Superior
Court Case No. 135347, being entitled "City of Anaheim vs. E. T.
Bradley, et al. and
WHEREAS, Defendants E. T. Bradley, Irene E. Bradley,
Mona E. Bettin, Theodore B. Kuchel and Genevieve U. Kuchel (sued
herein as Genevieve 0. Kuchel) have offered to deed the property
sought to be condemned by the City of Anaheim to the City for a
total cash consideration of $485,050.00 (being 21.8 acres at
$22,250.00 per acre); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that the sum of $485,050.00 is a fair and reasonable amount to be
paid for the property condemned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Director of Finance be, and he is�
hereby authorized and directed to deliver to the City Attorney's
Office the sum of $485,050.00, payable to Theodore B. Kuchel, to
be delivered by the City Attorney to said Defendant, Theodore B.
Kuchel, when the City Attorney holds a grant deed in favor of the
City of Anaheim, executed by E. T. Bradley, Irene E Bradley,
Mona E. Bettin, Theodore B. Kuchel and Genevieve U. Kuchel (who
took title as Genevieve 0. Kuchel) conveying the property condemned.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of August, 1965.
