A RESOLUTIONS OF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITE' OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner._ of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of JOHN R. FORD, a married
man,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of An< =heim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
.public utility_eurposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Tract 743, as per
Map recorded in Book 22, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
Savanna Street with the center line of Knott Street, formerly
known as Knott Avenue, as shown on a Map of Tract 5529; recorded
in Book 201, pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence South 89 39' 00" West along the center line
of Savanna Street a distance of 190 feet to the point of inter-
section with the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of
Lot 7, said Tract 743; thence Northerly along said prolongation,
and a portion of the West line of said Lot 7, to a point in a line
parallel with and 32.00 feet Northerly as measured at right angles,
from the center line of said Savanna Street; thence Easterly along
said parallel line a distance of 122.10 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15
feet; thence Easterly and Northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 89 52' 56" an arc distance of 23.53 feet to an
intersection with a line that is parallel with and distant 53.00
feet Westerly, as measured at right angles from the center line of
said Knott Street; thence Northerly along said parallel line a
distance of 203.14 feet to an intersection with the North line of
the South 35 feet of Lot 4 of said Tract 743; thence Easterly along
the Easterly prolongation of the North line of the South 35 feet of
said Lot 4 to the center line of Knott Street; thence South 0 13'
56" East along the center line of said Knott Street a distance of
250.00 feet to the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and th =!t the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1,00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
