A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEX CIT Y
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITE OF ARANBIM CERTAIN
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUB IC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described r 1 property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for read and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property 44E._ offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of eim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of A naheim that the offer of CHRYSLER MOTORS CORPORATION,
a Delatnre Cor oration
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows;
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Westerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles from the
center line of Anaheim Boulevard, formerly known as Los Angeles
Street, of the Southerly 30 feet of that portion of Lot 25 of
Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel, a
copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 162 to 164, inclusive,
of Los Angeles County Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of said Lot 25
with the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of Tract No.
2757, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 108, pages 28 and 29 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
North 74 28' 11' East parallel with the Northerly line of said
Lot 25 a distance of 320.00 feet; thence South 15 31' 49" East
185.16 feet parallel with the Westerly line of said Lot 25 to the
Southerly line of land described in a deed to Herman Henry Bruns
and wife, recorded November 18, 1935 in Book 792, page 12 of
Official Records; thence South 74 28' 11" West 320.00 feet along
said Southerly line to the Westerly line of said Lot 25; thence
North 15 31' 49" West 185.16 feet to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the center line of Anaheim
Boulevard is assumed to be the west line of the above described
parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of December 19 65
