1965-907WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of establish-
ing the library of said City as a "selective depository" of the
California State Library, pursuant to Sections 13660 to 13667
of the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement with the State of
California, acting by and through its duly appointed qualified
and acting Director of General Services, with the approval of
the State Librarian, sets forth clearly the rights and duties
of the Library of the City of Anaheim, and the City of Anaheim
approves of the terms and conditions of said agreement establish-
ing the library of the City of Anaheim as a "selective depository"
of the California State Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said proposed agreement this day sub-
mitted to the City Council, be, and the same is hereby approved;
and the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized
to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim, Anaheim Public Library.
