1965-905RESOLUTION NO 65R -905 A RESOLUTION OF TSB CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAEXIX ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO TEE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real roperty for municipal purposes, to grit: An easement for roa and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner s of said property offered to sell and convey the same o the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of ORA HARDACRE and EVELYN, HARDACRE, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Easterly 45 feet, as measured at right angles from the center line of Harbor Boulevard, formerly known as Palm Street, and an easement for alley and public utility purposes over, under and across the Westerly 5.00 feet of the Northerly 57 feet of the Southerly 114 feet of that portion of Vineyard Lot G -6, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point 144.75 feet Westerly measured at right angles from the center line of said Harbor Boulevard and 38.25 feet Northerly measured at right angles from the center line of West Water Street; thence Northerly, parallel with said center line of said Harbor Boulevard 513.25 feet to the Northerly line of the land conveyed to Joseph William Heinz, et ux. by deed recorded in Book 619, page 4 of Deeds, records of said Orange County; thence Easterly along said Northerly line to said center line of said Harbor Boulevard; thence Southerly along said center line of Harbor Boulevard 513.25 feet, more or less, to a point in a line 38.25 feet Northerly measured at right angles from the center line of said West Water Street, which line is the Norther- ly line of West Water Street, as fixed by that certain deed recorded January 8, 1927 in Book 10, page 81 of Official Records; thence Westerly along said Northerly line of West Water Street 144.75 feet to the point of beginning. For the purpose of this description the center line of Harbor Boulevard is assumed to be the Easterly line of the above described parcel of land. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
