A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
6126 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO.
59 -60 -107.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
July 5, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 6126 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 59 -60 -107, finding and determining that the
property and area therein described should be changed from R -A,
RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
ZONE, subject to certain conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 2 of said resolution provides
that the owners of subject property place of record City of
Anaheim C -1 Deed Restrictions, approved by the City Attorney,
limiting the uses of the property to those certain uses enu-
merated in said Condition No. 2; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, on April 18, 1961, the City
Council did adopt Resolution No. 6821 amending Condition No. 2
of Resolution No. 6126 by deleting the uses set forth therein
and substituting therefor the uses listed in said Resolution
No. 6821; and
WHEREAS, the owners of subject property, through their
representative, have requested that the City of Anaheim consent
to the removal of said deed restrictions, and all amendments
thereto, placed on subject property; and
WHEREAS, said request for the removal of said deed
restrictions and amendments thereto was set for public hearing
by the City Council in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
City of Anaheim on November 30, 1965 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock
P.M.; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct said hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said request
for removal of said deed restrictions and amendments thereto
from subject property should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6126 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 59 -60 -107 be, and the same is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom Condition No. 2.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to sign a consent to the
removal of said restrictions, and amendments thereto, for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
