A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITYTYWRITMETATFRIEL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha v_ offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THELMA R. HARE, a married
woman, and DON S. VAN DUSEN and MARIE VAN Dt)SEN, husband and
wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lots 90 and 91 of Tract 2381,
as per Map thereof recorded in Book 69, pages 15, 16 and
17 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Euclid
Street, formerly known as Euclid Avenue, with the center
line of Alomar Avenue, as shown on a Map of said Tract
2381; thence North 89 10 42 East a distance of 67.59
feet; thence South 0 49' 18" East a distance of 30 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave Southeasterly and
having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line bearing
North 0° 49' 18" West passes through the point of beginning
of said curve; thence Westerly and Southerly along said
curve through a central angle of 89 28' 42' an arc
distance of 23.43 feet; thence South 0 18' 00" East
tangent to said curve a distance of 107.15 feet to the
Southerly line of said Lot 91; thence South 89 10' 42"
West a distance of 5 feet along a portion of the Southerly
line of said Lot 91 and the Westerly prolongation thereof
to an intersection with the center line of said Euclid
Street; thence North 0 18' 00" West along the center line
of said Euclid Street to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of the above description, the center line
of Euclid Street is assumed to be the Westerly line of
Lots 90 and 91, said Tract 2381.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of November 19 65
