A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAEXIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO TRE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to slit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha a offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CHLELL LAWR PH%RRIS
and GENEVIEVE B. PHARRIS, husband and 'wire,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follow
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 45 feet of the following
described parcel of land:
Be at the Northeast corner of Lot Two in Block
"K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California, running thence Westerly
along the North line of said Lot Two, 40 rods; thence
in a Southerly direction and parallel to the East line
of said Lot Two, 70 rods; thence in an Easterly
direction and parallel to the North line of said Lot,
40 rods; thence in a Northerly direction along the
East line of said Lot Two, 70 rods to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion conveyed to the Orange
County Flood Control District by deed recorded
December 5, 1958 in Book 4506, page 200 of Official
Records.
For the purpose of this description, it is assumed
that the Westerly line of the above described parcel
is the center line of Miller Street.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23 day of November 19 65
