A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CI
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: ,An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
iIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of A naheim that the offer of A. A. EDMONDSON. a�
unmarried man,
to sell to the City of the following described read
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility_ purposes
and more part[cularly described as follow
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly 45 feet of
the Easterly 339 feet of the Westerly 660 feet
of the Southerly 160 feet of the Northerly rec-
tangular 378 feet of that portion of Lot 2 in
Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscel-
laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant 38.10 rods Westerly,
measured at right angles from a point in the
Easterly line of said lot, said latter point being
70 rods Southerly from the Northeasterly corner
of said lot; thence Southerly, parallel to the
Easterly line of said lot, 42 rods; thence Westerly,
parallel to the Northerly line of said lot, 41.90
rods to a point in the Westerly line of said lot;
thence Northerly along said Westerly line 42
rods; thence Easterly, parallel to the Northerly
line of said lot, 41.90 rods to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of November 19 65
