A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to vit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SAM RANKIN and ETHEL
RANKIN, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road aid
public utility purposes

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of the South 252.00 feet of the North 318.00
feet of the East half of the East half of the Northwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per Map recorded in Book 51,
page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the North 318.00 feet of
the East half of the East half of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 14, said point also being the
Northwest corner of Lot D, Tract 3886 as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 151, pages 8, 9 and 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County; thence North 89 41' 29" East along the Southerly
line of said North 318.00 feet a distance of 65.00 feet to the
Northwest corner of Lot 23 of said Tract 3886, said point being
the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and having a
radius of 41.00 feet, a radial line bearing South 51 33 20" East
passes through the point of beginning of said curve; thence
Northeasterly, Northerly, Westerly and Southwesterly along said
curve through a central angle of 182 17' 41" an arc distance
of 130.45 feet to an intersection with the Westerly line of
said North 318.00 feet, a radial line to said point of inter-
section bears North 53 51' 01" West; thence South 0 14' 57"
East along said Westerly line a distance of 50.03 feet to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
