A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAMEIX ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WEEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DONALD M. TARBELL and
ELIZABETH D. TARBELL, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes, particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 53 feet, as measured at right
angles from the center line of Euclid Street, of that
portion of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., as per Map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said Section 20,
said East line being also the center line of Euclid Street,
formerly known as Euclid Avenue, 1680.40 feet North 0 55' 00"
East from the Southeast corner of said Section 20; thence
North 89 05' 00" West 150.00 feet; thence North 0 55' 00'
East 85.40 feet; thence South 89 25' 38" East 150.03 feet;
thence South 0 55' 00" West 88.00 feet, to the point of
beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the center line of
Euclid Street is assumed to be the East line of the above
described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of November 19 65
