1965-827WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District, the
owner of said property has offered to quitclaim the same to
the City in exchange for certain property owned by the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept a Quitclaim Deed for said real property;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Orange County Flood
Control District, to quitclaim to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
Quitclaim Deed for said property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by

OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A' DEED FgOM ORANGE COUNTY
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT QUITCLAIMING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED.
A strip of land, 50.00 feet wide, in that portion of
the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Sec-
tion 7, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, county of Orange, State of
California, described in the deed to the City of Anaheim,
recorded June 25, 1943 in book 1197, page 213 of Official
Records in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the westerly line of said strip being parallel
with and westerly 100.00 feet from the easterly line of
the land described in said deed.
