A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
62R -446 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS
NO. 61- 62 -92.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on May 8, 1962, adopt Resolution No. 62R -446 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings No. 61 -62 -92 finding and determining that the
property and area hereinafter described should be changed from
R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE to C -3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL
ZONE, C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD- COMMERCIAL ZONE and R -3, MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, as more particularly set forth in
said resolution, subject to certain conditions also set forth
therein; and
WHEREAS, on or about August 13, 1965, the owners of
said property, through their agent, requested that said resolu-
tion be amended by deleting certain of the conditions set
forth therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing to consider amendments to Resolution No. 62R -446,
and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of 40 days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings and a recommendation that
said Resolution No. 62R -446 be amended as particularly set
forth in its Resolution No. 1788 Series 1965 -66 duly adopted;
and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution and recom-
mendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council
did hold and conduct a public hearing upon said proposed
amendments to Resolution No. 62R -446 in Reclassification Pro-
ceedings No. 61- 62 -92, in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall, City of Anaheim, and did give all persons interested
therein an opportunity to be heard, and did consider the
report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that Resolution
No. 62R -446 should be amended by changing the proposed classifi-
cations of certain portions of subject property, by deleting
all conditions contained in said resolution, and by inserting
certain conditions as more particularly hereinafter specified;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of
zones and completing said reclassification proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 62R -446 in Reclassi-
fication Proceedings No. 61 -62 -92 be, and the same is hereby,
amended as follows:
1. Thatthe description of the parcels of real property
contained in said resolution shall be amended to read
as follows:

PARCEL 1:
The northerly 150.00 feet of the southerly 190.00 feet
of the westerly 182.00 feet of the west half of the west
half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as said section is shown on a map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT that portion thereof described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of the south 40.00
feet of said section 7, distant easterly along said line
60.00 feet from the west line of said southwest quarter;
thence westerly along said north line to said west line;
thence northerly along said west line to a line which is
parallel with and northerly 20.00 feet, measured at right
angles, from said north line; thence easterly along said
parallel line 40.00 feet; thence southeasterly in a
direct line to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
The southerly 307.00 feet of the west half of the west
half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as said section is shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT the southerly 40.00 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT the northerly 150.00 feet of the southerly
190.00 feet of the westerly 182.00 feet thereof.
PARCEL 3:
That portion of the west half of the west half of the
Southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 7,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
said section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County, bounded northerly by the southerly line
of the southerly 2 acres of the northwest quarter of
the west half of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of said section and bounded southerly by the
northerly line of the southerly 307.00 feet of said
southeast quarter.
2. That Parcels 1 and 2 above described shall be changed
to C -1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE; and that Parcel 3
above described shall be changed to R -3, MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
3. That all conditions; that is, Conditions Nos. 1 to 10,
both inclusive, shall be deleted from said resolution.
4. That the following conditions shall be inserted in
Resolution No. 62R -446:
(c) That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works and Super-
intendent of Streets, prior to final building
inspection.
(d) That the owners of subject property shall pay
to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per
dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation
purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the
building permit is issued.
5. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to
final building inspection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 62R -446 be, and remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of November, 1965.
ATTEST:
(a) That a final tract map of subject property shall
be submitted to the City Council for approval
and recorded in the Office of the County Recorder
of Orange County.
(b) That the owners of subject property shall pay
to the City of Anaheim the sum of per front
foot along Lincoln Avenue and Gilbert Street,
for Parcels 1 and 2, for tree planting purposes,
which amount shall be collected as a portion of
the subdivision fees.
