Priest ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:54 a.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held October 15 and October 22, 1985. Agency Member Bay seconded the motion. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $624,734.06, in accordance with the 1985-86 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Roth, seconded by Agency Member Pickler, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161: Receiving and filing the Monthly Status Report for the month of September 1985. End of Consent Calendar. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. 161/181: LIBRARY: Request y Ana eim Museum, Inc., or t e su ject un s rehabilitation of the Carnegie Library as an historical museum. Submitted was report dated October 22, 1985 from the Community Development Department recommending that the Agency set a policy on the use of Redevelopment funds for the subject rehabilitation. MOTION: Agency Member Pickler moved to continue consideration of the request by Anaheim Museum, Inc., to Tuesday, November 19, 1985, since Mr. Herb Leo, Anaheim Museum, Inc, was presently out of town and wanted to be present during the discussion and also to give Agency Member Overholt an opportunity to be present since he wished to be involved in the discussions as well. Agency Member Kaywood seconded the motion. After a discussion between Agency Members and staff, it was determined that no written or verbal request for a continuance had been received from anyone; Agency Member Bay expressed concern that some Agency Members were aware that the item was going to be continued while other Members did not. Agency Member 85-63 130 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY November 5, 1985, 9:30 A.M. - Kaywood reported that she was informed by a member of the public that the matter was going to be continued. Agency Member Bay stated he had intended to take action on the issue today and could support an amended motion trailing the matter until Agency Member Overholt was present. He saw no need for a continuance. City Manager William Talley explained in conversations he had with representatives of Anaheim Museum, Inc. they were preparing a new letter containing a new financial proposal for consideration by the City which had not yet been received by staff. Director of Community Development and Planning Norm Priest stated he had met with Mr. Leo and Mr. Ricks, the attorney for the Museum, who indicated their desire to submit additional information. A continuance was not discussed but Mr. Leo did say he would be out of town and would like very much to discusse the matter with the Agency/Council upon submittal of the additional information. A vote was then taken on the foregoing motion of continuance to Tuesday, November 19, 1985. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Bay moved to adjourn. Agency Member Kaywood seconded the motion. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. (9:59 a.m.) - LEONORA N. SOHL, SECRETARY - 85-64
