Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 10:07 a.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Bay moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held September 16, 1986. Agency Member Overholt seconded the motion.
Agency Members Kaywood and Pickler were absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
524,121.48, in accordance with the 1986 -87 Budget, were approved.
Agency Members Kaywood and Pickler entered the Council Chamber. (10:08 a.m.)
161/158: BUSINESS RELOCATION CLAIM NO. ARA 856 -TB: Agency Member Roth moved
to authorize payment of an amount not to exceed $189,344 for a business
relocation claim, Claim No. ARA 856-TB, as recommended in memorandum dated
September 22, 1986 from Tom Carruthers, Manager of Restoration and Property
Services. Agency Member Pickler seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161/157/123: DEVELOPMENT OF PARCEL 5 - SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS: Mr. Tom
Carruthers, Manager of Restoration and Property Services, reported that the
Redevelopment Commission had requested that the authorization for solicitation
of proposals on Parcel 5 be continued for two weeks.
Agency Member Roth moved to continue the solicitation of proposals on Parcel
No. 5 for two weeks as requested by the Redevelopment Commission. Agency
Member Pickler seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161/158: PUBLIC HEARING - DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY - 1009 EAST LINCOLN
AVENUE: To consider the disposition of a certain two -story structure located
at 1009 East Lincoln Avenue. Staff requested withdrawal of the item and will
readvertise for a new public hearing at a later date.
MOTION: Agency Member Roth moved to withdraw the subject public hearing
request as recommended by staff and to readvertise for a new public hearing at
a later date. Agency Member Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.

MOTION: Agency Member Pickler moved to recess into Closed Session. Agency
Member Bay seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (10:10 a.m.)
AFTER RECESS: The Chairman called the meeting to order, all Agency Members
being present. (10:21 a.m.)
MOTION: Agency Member Roth moved that the Anaheim Revelopment Agency
authorize and approve settlement of case Anaheim Redevelopment Agency vs.
Kaska, Superior Court Case No. 47 64 82, in the amount of $318,500. Agency
Member Pickler seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Kaywood moved to adjourn. Agency Member Overholt
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (10:21 a.m.)
