Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 10:05 a.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meetings held September 30, 1986 and October 7, 1986. Agency Member Bay
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
321,253.82 for the period ending October 17, 1986 and 40,083.57 for the
period ending October 24, 1986, in accordance with the 1986 -87 Budget, were
approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Pickler, seconded by
Agency Member Kaywood, the following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda:
1. 161: Receiving and filing the Monthly Status Report for the month of
September 1986.
2. 118: The following claims were filed against the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency and action taken as recommended:
Claims rejected and referred to Risk Management:
a. Claim submitted by Frank Lowry for property damage sustained
purportedly due to actions of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency on or about
August 19, 1986.
b. Claim submitted by California Casualty (Frank A. & June C. Lowry,
Insured) for property damage sustained purportedly due to actions of the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency on or about August 19, 1986.
3. 161/123: Authorizing a contract with the City to provide reimbursement to
the Agency of a portion of fees paid to Katz- Hollis and Weiser, Kane, Ballmer
and Berkman for financial assistance in recovering certain County property tax
penalties and interest.
