A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency was posted at 2:45 p.m. on May 8, 1987 at the Civic Center front lobby
window, containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Bay called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to
order at 1:43 p.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held April 21, 1987. Agency Member Pickler seconded the motion. One
Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
157,302.70, in accordance with the 1986-87 Budget, were approved.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST:
No items of public interest were addressed.
161: JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION: A joint public hearing with the Community Redevelopment
Commission to solicit public input on Draft EIR 87-01 for the Redevelopment
Plan for Katella Redevelopment Project Area, composed of approximately 4,400
acres generally located within the area bounded by Santa Ana Street and Ball
Road on the northwest and north, respectively, by the Santa Ana River on the
east, along the southerly City limits on the south, and generally west of
Walnut Street on the west.
RECONVENING OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION: Chairman William
Ranney called the Community Redevelopment Commission meeting to order.

Norm Priest, Director of Community Development & Planning. The draft report
before the Agency/Commission today (see draft EIR No. 87-01 for the Katella
~' Redevelopment Project) is a part of the procedure required under the

California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and to hear comments from those
persons interested in offering oral comments oa the report. It is not the
intention to respond to the comments today but to listen to those comments,
take transcripts from those and to reflect those comments as staff will do
with other written comments in the final EIR together with the response to
those comments.
Chairman Bay opened the public hearing and called for any oral comments from
the public regarding draft EIR No. 87-01.
No member of the public came forward to give oral comments on the sub3ect
draft EIR.
Chairman Bay asked if any of the Redevelopment Commissioners had any comments
to make regarding EIR No. 87-01 - there were none.
Agency Member Kaywood noted two corrections to Page 6 and 14 which were
acknowledged by staff and will be corrected accordingly.
Since there were no oral comments made by the public, no further action was
necessary by either the Agency or the Commission.
ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Anthony moved to ad3ourn. Commissioner Doty .,.,,,,
seconded the motion. Two Vacancies. MOTION CARRIED. (1:48 p.m.)
