Roberts EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Norman J. Priest Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:50 a.m. MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELO AGENCY in the amount of 39,026.54, in accordance with the 1982 -83 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Roth, seconded by Agency Member Overholt, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports, certifications and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161: Receiving and filing the Monthly Status Report for the month of October 1982. 2. 161.107: Authorizing a Change Order to Contract No. D82 -7 with Martin Resnik Construction Company in the amount of $9,628 for site office rehabilitation at 206 North Olive Street, and extending the term of the contract by forty -five calendar days. 161.123: RESOLUTION N0. ARA82 -58: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COOPERATION AGREEMENT NO. 17 FOR RIGHT OF WAY AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. (to serve development Parcels 4a, b, c, d and e, the revitalized Kraemer Building, the proposed parking structure and Parcel 16) 161.123: RESOLUTION NO. ARA82 -59: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COOPERATION AGREEMENT NO. 18 FOR PUBLIC PARKING STRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. ( the "Old" Lincoln Avenue area east of Anaheim Boulevard) Roll Call Vote: AYES: AGENCY MEMBERS: Kaywood, Pickler, Overholt, Bay and Roth NOES: AGENCY MEMBERS: None ABSENT: AGENCY MEMBERS: None MOTION CARRIED. The Chairman declared Resolution Nos. ARA82 -58 and ARA82 -59 duly passed and adopted. 161.157: DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS FOR PARCELS 8 AND 9: Mr. Norman Priest, Executive Director of Community Development, reported that the Redevelopment Commission and the Project Area Committee (PAC) bad heard proposals from four 82 -95 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY November 23, 1982, 9:30 A.M. developers interested in obtaining an Exclusive Right to Negotiate Agreement for Parcels 8 and 9 at a joint session held November 17, 1982. He requested direction from the Agency for their hearing on these proposals, specifically as to whether they wished to accept the report of the Redevelopment Commission and PAC and have developers present to ask questions; or to ask them to make an abbreviated or full presentation. Following a brief discussion, the Agency Members indicated that since they felt Parcels 8 and 9 were keyed to the tenor of the downtown Project Alpha Program, they felt in this instance it would be appropriate to hear full presentations from all four developers. It was further requested that should any of these developers modify the proposals from that which was presented before the Redevelopment Commission and PAC, that in reporting these to the Agency, the modifications be brought to their attention. 161.153: SUDDEN DEATH OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE: Mr. Priest announced the sudden and unexpected death of Community Development employee Guy Covi as a result of an accident on his way to work.
