Roberts HOUSING MANAGER: Lisa Stipkovich Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:58 a.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meetings held October 26 and November 9, 1982. Agency Member Bay seconded the motion. Agency Member Pickler abstained on the minutes of October 26, 1982, since he was not present. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of 68,437.78 and $165,957.00 for Series "C" Bonds, in accordance with the 1982 -83 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEM: On motion by Agency Member Kaywood, seconded by Agency Member Bay, the following action was authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161.118: Receiving and filing the Relocation Claims pending over ninety or more days - -none pending. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. 161.128/118: AUDIT REPORT JULY 1 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1982 - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT: Submitted was a memorandum dated November 23, 1982 from the Executive Director of Community Development Norman J. Priest recommending that the subject report (Audit No. 8204, attached to the memorandum) be received and filed. Noted in the report, Finding No. 2, was the fact that Security Pacific National Bank failed to notify the Agency that it did not qualify for an interest - earning checking account in February 1982 when the account was established and thus, no interest income was paid. Agency Member Kaywood stated she was not ready to write off the matter of the bank's failure to notify the Agency regarding the interest - earning account. She felt the bank owed the interest which would have accrued on such an account. Housing Manager Lisa Stipkovich stated that she would be certain that Mr. Priest was made aware of Agency Member Kaywood's request; Agency Member Kaywood asked that the City Manager also investigate the matter. City Manager William Talley stated he would ask Director of Finance George Ferrone to meet with the Bank, since he felt there was a credibility problem that should be addressed. He would ask Mr. Ferrone to meet with Security Pacific Bank regarding the interest - bearing account and subsequently report to Mr. Priest. 82 -100 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY December 7, 1982, 9:30 A.M. MOTION: Agency Member Kaywood moved to receive and file the Quarterly Audit Report dated July 1 through September 30, 1982, for the Relocation Assistance Account, and further, that the Director of Finance be directed to meet with Security Pacific Bank regarding the interest - bearing account and subsequently report to the Executive Director, Norman Priest. Agency Member Bay seconded the motion. Agency Member Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED. ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Roth moved to adjourn. Agency Member Bay seconded the motion.
