Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 9:40 a.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Pickler moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meetings held February 21 and February 28, 1984. Agency Member Roth seconded
the motion. Agency Member Kaywood was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
59,311.99, and $540,640.16 for Series "C" Bonds, for the period ending
March 2, 1984, and $51,370.01, and $460,777.58 for Series "C" Bonds, for the
period ending March 9, 1984, in accordance with the 1983 -84 Budget, were
approved.
Agency Member Kaywood entered the Council Chambers. (9:41 a.m.)
161.121: CONDEMNATION HEARING To consider the acquisition of property owned
by Church of His Holy Presence, generally located at 325 West Broadway.
Submitted was a report dated March 5, 1984, from the Executive Director of
Community Development, Norman Priest, recommending acquisition of the subject
property.
Chairman Roth asked if anyone was present to speak on the proposed
condemnation, either in favor or in opposition; no one was present to speak to
the matter.
Agency Member Kaywood offered Resolution No. ARA84 -9 for adoption, finding and
determining the public interest and necessity for acquiring and authorizing
the condemnation of certain real property within the Redevelopment Project
Alpha and authorizing the law firm of Oliver, Stoever & Laskin to proceed, as
recommended in memorandum dated March 5, 1984, from the Executive Director.

Before a vote was taken, Agency Member Bay asked if any representatives were
present from the Church, and also asked staff if the Church was notified; no
Church representatives were present and Mr. Priest explained that they were
notified.
A vote was then taken on the foregoing resolution.
