Sohl EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Norm J. Priest Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:59 a.m. MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the nest regular meeting. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $654,542.74, in accordance with the 1984-85 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: The following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: Agency Member Kaywood offered Resolution No. ARA84 -22 for adoption, authorizing the First Implementation Agreement to Disposition and Development Agreement with King of California, Inc., for the development of Parcel 16 in Project Area Alpha, on the northwest corner of Broadway and Philadelphia Street, to construct a multi -story theatre as recommended in memorandum dated August 28, 1984 from the Executive Director of Community Development Norm Priest. Refer to Resolution Book. 1. 161 /123: RESOLUTION NO. ARA84 -22: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS OF THE FIRST IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT WITH KING OF CALIFORNIA. Before a vote was taken, Mr. Leo Freedman, Hyatt Hotel, 468 South Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, explained that Mr. Dan Rowland, Dan Rowland and Associates, took over as architecht for the subject proposed theatre which would be one of the finest in the country. He referred to the Schedule of Performance relative to the timeframe for completion of the theatre (see Schedule of Performance, Page 5 of the First Implementation Agreement). He also reported for Chairman Roth that the cost of the theatre was projected at $7 to $7.5 million and would contain approximately 2,000 seats. A vote was then taken on the foregoing Resolution.
