Sohl EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Norman J. Priest Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 10:06 a.m. MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of 1,325,784.87, in accordance with the 1984-85 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Roth, seconded by Agency Member Overholt, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161/123: Authorizing the Executive Director to execute agreements with Southern California Gas Company to extend the gas main at a cost of $2,740 and "-" to provide gas stub services to lots two and three in an amount totalling $434, in Heritage Square. 2. 161/158: Authorizing an amendment to relocation claim costs in Case No. ARA TB -709 increasing the total to an amount not to exceed $254,244. 3. 161/123: Authorizing the Executive Director to execute a Permission to Enter and Release of Liability agreement with Meyer Investment Properties, Inc., to enter Parcels 8 and 9 at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Broadway, for the purpose of conducting preliminary site work prior to construction. MOTION CARRIED. REQUEST FOR CLOSED SESSION: The City Attorney requested a Closed Session to discuss litigation with action anticipated. Chairman Roth announced that a Closed Session would be held with the City's Attorney concerning litigation. Agency Member Roth moved to recess into Closed Session. Agency Member Pickler seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (10:07 a.m.) AFTER RECESS: The Chairman called the meeting to order, all Agency Members being present. (10:34 a.m.) 161 /112: ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY VS. SHAB: On motion by Agency Member Roth, seconded by Agency Member Pickler, the Redevelopment Agency authorized 84 -56 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY October 9, 1984, 9:30 A.M. the law firm of Oliver, Stoever & Laskin to make settlement of the claim for loss of goodwill by Las Cantinas, Inc., dba E1 Maguey Bar, in the case of Anaheim Redevelopment Agency vs. Shab, Orange County Superior Court Case No. 40- 32 -35, for the total sum of $40,000.00 including interest and cost and any other claims related to loss of goodwill.
