A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency was posted at 4:00 p.m. on April 29, 1988 at the Civic Center kiosk,
containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Bay called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to
order at 6:40 p.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held April 5, 1988. Agency Member Hunter seconded the motion. Agency
Member Pickler was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
34,430.76, in accordance with the 1987-88 Budget, were approved.
RE(~UEST FOR CLOSED SESSION: City Attorney White announced that the request
for a Closed Session was not necessary at this time since it was held as part
of the Closed Session for the Council earlier today. Asa result, the
following motion is recommended for approval.
161.112: MOTION: Agency Member Bay moved to authorize the law firm of
Olive r, Stoever & Laskin, Special Counsel, to make settlement of claim for
loss of good will with Evelyn H. Cason, dba Merle Norman Cosmetics, in the
amount of $20,000. Agency Member Hunter seconded the motion. Agency Member
Pickler was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST:
No items of public interest were addressed.
ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Bay moved to adjourn. Agency Member Kaywood
seconded the motion. Agency Member Pickler was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
