Upon invitation by Chairman Seymour, Dr. Brashears reported on the many meetings held with representatives of the Koll Company and Agency staff since he last appeared before the Agency. At this point, it was the feeling of the Koll people that they would like to do additional studies and make considerable changes to the project concept. Therefore, other alternatives were being explored. He advised that the financial key was equity financing, and a New York bank was interested in granting them a three -year loan for the project. In addition, discussions were under way with another bank pertaining to the construction loan. Dr. Brashears was confident that the loan would be satisfactorily completed. Mr. F. K. Friedemann, Attorney representing Dr. Brashears, stated it had ...A been their approach that the most expedient project would be one they would ultimately choose. Alternatives were being explored with full knowledge of the Koll Company, prior to making a final decision. He noted the changing financial picture and the problems with loans and interest rates, advising that the first available loan which made sense would be accepted. 81 -85 ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1981, 1:00 P.M.
