Sohl Bertha Chavoya A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at 4:00 p.m. on April 13, 1990 at the Civic Center kiosk, containing all items as shown herein. Acting Chairman Pickler called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:40 p.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held March 13, 1990. Agency Member Daly seconded the motion. Agency Member Hunter was absent. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $1,367,380.56 for the week ending April 6, 1990 and $110,647.89 for the week ending April 13, 1990, in accordance with the 1989 -90 Budget, were approved. REQUEST FOR CLOSED SESSION: To consider the good will claim of J. B. Electronics. City Attorney White announced that since this item was covered as part of the Closed Session Agenda, a recess was not necessary at this time. ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: Manuel Alonzo, 300 North Olive, Anaheim. He wants to address Section 8 Housing Rental Assistance. He has been applying for such assistance for quite a few years. He is handicapped and living on Social Security Disability. He has spoken to Mrs. Stipkovich and he is continually told there is a waiting list. He needs to know what is happening. He applied in January of this year this time and has been applying for Section 8 Housing for the last eight years in different cities. Bertha Chavoya, Housing Manager. The Department has an application on file for Mr. Alonzo from January, 1990. That is the most current application on file. Their records do not show anything else. Mr. Alonzo may have moved and not notified the Department in which case his name may have been purged. Acting Chairman Pickler advised Mr. Alonzo to keep in touch with the Department, noting that many people have been waiting for Section 8 Housing for a number of years.
